“HOVER is a large-format kinetic light sculpture. It is made up of eight four-metre high poles. At the top, each pole has a three-metre long transverse light bar with the ability to generate complete turns on its own axis. Hover takes its name from the awe-inspiring sensation of having moving luminaires floating above you as you walk among these giants.
This piece seeks to highlight the contrast and the need we have as humans to generate balance in all aspects of our lives. Hover pays tribute to this balance through its powerful lighting sequences in which moments of light are as important as moments of darkness. In Hover, the absence of light is also part of the discourse. “
